Nelison "Nick" Anderson (born January 20, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois) is a retired American basketball player.

He spent thirteen years in the NBA (beginning in 1989), most of them with the Orlando Magic.

The Irish solidified their hold on third place in the Midwestern League by improving to 8-4, while the Colts dropped into second place at 9-3.

Alex Brink Alex Brink (June 2, 1985- ) is a 6-foot-3, 207 pound senior quarterback at Washington State. Through his junior campaign, Brink has completed 57.3 percent of his passes for 7,095 yards. He has thrown 50 touchdowns and 28 interceptions. His quarterback efficiency rating is 131.78.  threw a complete game for the Irish, allowing nine hits and two earned runs. Three Irish errors led to Thurston's other runs.

"Alex pitched a great game; he got them to hit some high-hop grounders that befuddled us," Sheldon coach Jim Fryback said. "Alex didn't let the errors get to him."

Brink and Zach Moran hit back-to-back singles in the first inning, and then Spencer Bisgaard was hit by a pitch to load the bases with two outs. Anderson followed with his third home run of the season.

Thurston scored twice in the second inning and then closed within 4-3 when Ryan Escalera opened the fifth with a double and scored on a Sheldon error.

The Irish answered with three runs in the fifth, with Bisgaard singling in the first run. With two outs, Brian Hanson drew a bases-loaded walk and Jon Higgins added a single to put the Irish ahead 7-3.

Thurston trailed 7-4 entering the seventh inning, but Nick Smith opened the inning with a double and scored on Brian Barley's double.

North Bend 8, Willamette 6

NORTH BEND - The Bulldogs scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 5-5 tie in the win over the Wolverines.

Boo Christenson and Andrew Smith had two hits each for North Bend. Christenson and Andy Stupfel drove in two runs each. Ty Zehner was 3-for-4 for Willamette.
