Andersen Consulting's Government practice awarded two federal contracts valued at more than $75 million.


WASHINGTON, D.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 1996--Andersen Consulting's Government practice has been awarded two separate federal contracts, one by the U.S. Department of Defense and one by the Social Security Administration.

Combined, the two contracts are worth more than $75 million for the global management and technology consulting organization, which will work with each agency to align its strategy with its people, processes and technology.

 maintenance information systems and processes and to train personnel throughout the U.S. Air Force was awarded to Andersen Consulting See Accenture.  by the Electronics System Center, located at Hanscom Air Force Base Hanscom Air Force Base, initially and briefly designated Bedford Army Air Base, is a U.S. Air Force facility in Bedford, Massachusetts. Andersen will put into place the industry "best practices" incorporated into the PeopleSoft Federal products and will integrate the software with existing systems and services. Andersen Consulting will also provide change management services, including marketing, communications and employee training.
