And the Winner is...Omega Research; Greater Miami Chamber Honors 1999 Cutting Edge Award Recipient.

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 30, 1999--

Omega Research Inc., a leading provider of real-time investment analysis software for Microsoft Windows operating system, today was named the 1999 Cutting Edge Award winner by the Small Business Group of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.

Accepting the award for Omega Research were William R. and Rafael L. Cruz, co-chief executive officers.

Founded in 1982, Omega Research was based on a very innovative concept - the ability to test investment strategies before putting money on the line. The company distributes its products through a direct marketing channel and its principal products include TradeStation(r), OptionStation(r) and SuperCharts(r).

The Cutting Edge Award, presented annually to one winner, was created to recognize South Florida companies that have distinguished themselves through their mix of innovation, service and performance. Two runners-up are also recognized at the annual award presentation. This year, RailAmerica Inc., a leader in providing local freight service through the fast-growing short line railroad industry, and The Travel Company, an experienced group offering domestic and international airline reservations, cruise vacations, hotel reservations, tours, and auto rentals to travelers and travel agents, were named the 1999 runners-up.
