And the Tellys Go to...Gestetner and Altamira; Gestetner's Groundbreaking 'Gets It Done' Marketing Campaign Garners Two Telly Awards for a Television Commercial and Dealer Video.


WEST CALDWELL West Caldwell, borough (1990 pop. 10,422), Essex co., NE N.J., a residential suburb of Newark and New York City; inc. 1904. It has some light manufacturing. , N.J. -- Proving to be a winning team, Gestetner and Altamira Communications each earned a Telly Award for their outstanding efforts building the brand's "Gestetner Gets It Done" integrated marketing campaign.

Altamira Communications, based in Westport, CT. took home the Silver Telly for producing Gestetner's first-ever television commercial, entitled en·ti·tle

Celebrating its 27th year, the Telly Awards competition honors outstanding local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. Gestetner's Bronze Telly was awarded in the Employee Communications Category, while Altamira won its Silver Telly in the Business Equipment and Services Category for Regional and Multi-Market Cable Commercials. This year's Telly Awards competition received more than 12,000 entries from the world's finest World's Finest may refer to:

 ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies, and corporations.

The dealer video was produced, edited, and directed by Senior Advertising, Branding and Communications Manager, Louise Stix. The video shows Susie Woodhull, president of Woodhull LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

 a Gestetner dealer based in Dayton, OH, explaining how the "Gestetner Gets It Done" message works throughout her business - with her customers and her employees. Narrated by Ms. Woodhull and shot on-location in Ohio, the two-and-a-half minute video establishes the direct connection between Gestetner, Woodhull and its customers.

"The idea behind the TV commercial was to demonstrate Gestetner's capabilities in an engaging way that would capture viewers' attention," added Richard Rapp, President of Altamira. "Our approach had not been done in this category so it is gratifying to hear the positive reactions from customers and dealers. It is an honor to win the Telly Award as it provides further evidence of the commercial's effectiveness."

The TV commercial, shot by accomplished director Matt Cantrell and released in November, focuses on the product as hero and captures the attitude and confidence of the Gestetner brand. Overlaid o·ver·laid
