ELEMENTS Cefn Druids know they need to make home advantage count as they bid to ease their relegation worries against Haverfordwest today, writes John Bridgwater.

The Ancients lost 4-0 at The New Saints last week, but they drew 1-1 with title-chasing Rhyl in their last home outing.

And joint boss Waynne Phillips is looking for a similar resolve at Plas Kynaston as he chases only a second win of the season.

"We know it will be difficult against Haverfordwest but these are the games we need to win," he said. "We've just played the so-called big three in the league (TNS, Rhyl and Llanelli) and despite only one point, I feel we've come out of the games with some credit.

"But we need to make sure we raise ourselves for the likes of Haverfordwest. Our gameplan will be slightly different as we'll be more attacking today."

Defender Aled Rowlands is still struggling with a knee problem.

Forward Craig Whitfield, on loan from TNS, returns after sitting out last week's clash while Tom Rowlands and Adam Hunter trained this week after injury and could come back into the reckoning.
