The remainder of the walk is along quiet country lanes and ends on a delightful field path to return to Eaves Green. HOW TO GET THERE FROM Coventry follow the A45 and exit at the Millison's Wood sign on to the B4102 and continue on the Old Road to Meriden. Halfway down Meriden Hill fork right into Old Road and park in the vicinity of the Queen's Head. GR250819.

FOLLOW Eaves Green Lane to the first houses on the right and turn right at a waymark Way´mark`

 post into a field. Aim straight ahead to a hedge gap and in the next field follow the hedge on your left for a few yards to a field entrance on the left.

Enter the narrow field and follow the hedge parallel with the road to a stile next to the A45 road bridge and exit on to the lane. Turn right and go on past Lodge Green Road on the left and remain on the road until it turns sharp right. Turn left into a bridle path and ignore the footpath ahead, you will return on this later.

Continue until the track divides in a half mile and fork right and go on to exit at the road.

Turn right and remain on the road for a good half mile to reach the houses and look for the footpath which crosses the road.

Turn right between the houses and follow the enclosed en·close   also in·close

In the next field veer to the left corner and go out to the road and turn right for 20 yards. Turn right through a kissing gate and go forward through two fields with the hedge on the right.

Change sides with the hedge at the next kissing gate and descend de·scend

 to the bottom of the field and enter the adjoining field.

Head up the fence on your right and go through a field gate to stay in the same direction to join the end of the farm track when it comes into view.

Follow the track past the farm to join the road and go forward to retrace your steps back to the A45 road bridge.

This time ignore the stile on the left and follow the lane back to the Queen's Head.
