Ancient cooking method leaps into 21st Century.


A range of salmon products, which gives a new twist to a traditional Scottish cooking method, has been launched by Hebrides Hebrides
 or Western Isles ancient Ebudae

Hebrides Harvest have given hot smoked salmon Noun 1. smoked salmon - salmon cured by smoking
salmon - flesh of any of various marine or freshwater fish of the family Salmonidae

lox - brine-cured salmon that is lightly smoked
 a new lease of life with a range featuring 'Original', 'Pepper crusted', 'Cajun crusted' and 'Trio' varieties. 'Trio' is the most innovative as it comprises the three flavours on one side and resembles a tricolour.

Hot smoked salmon differs from the more traditional cold smoked in that it is cooked as well as smoked.

The salmon is available as sides or portions to suit all types of customers and is vacuum-packed vac·u·um-packed

2. Sealed under low pressure or a partial vacuum.
