Anchor Financial Corp. announces 16.67 percent increase in quarterly cash dividend; strong performance again fuels increase.MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 8, 1996--Anchor Financial Corp. today announced that the quarterly cash dividend would be increased 16.67 percent to $0.105 per share, from $0.09 per share, payable on Jan. 31, 1996, to shareholders of record on Jan. 19, 1996. This is the first quarterly cash dividend paid in 1996 and the third increase in as many years. Stephen L.
