Anatomy of the perfect Orgasm.

Anatomy of the perfect

IT IS the moment when a woman reaches her peak of sexual ecstasy.

The female orgasm orgasm /or·gasm/ (or´gazm) the apex and culmination of sexual excitement.orgas´mic

n.
: every woman wants to achieve it but few know exactly what makes it happen.

For years, scientists have been trying to unlock the complex biological reasons why females climax during intercourse.

Now, at last, new research suggests that an orgasm is much more than a pleasant physical sensation designed to entice a woman into continuing the next generation.

Orgasms are vital, subconscious subconscious: see unconscious.  signals to each female that she has chosen the partner with the best gene pool - and the one most likely to give her the most perfect baby.

Since Darwin probed the sexual origin of the human race, scientists believed that there was no real reason for females to climax - except for pure physical pleasure.

Of course, it was easy enough for them to spot the biological link between men's orgasms and the continuation of the human species.

But when it comes to females, who don't have to climax to conceive, the reasons have always remained a mystery.

Considering the fact that as many as one in ten women has never even experienced the feeling, the question was: "Why then do women have them?" But the latest research has revealed orgasms have a vitally important role to play in planning future generations.

In fact they boost the chances of conception. The powerful muscular contractions Noun 1. muscular contraction - (physiology) a shortening or tensing of a part or organ (especially of a muscle or muscle fiber)

Timings of orgasms have been tested by British biologists Robin Baker and Mark Bellis, who asked couples to keep track of when they reached a climax.

They discovered that the more simultaneous a couple's orgasm, the more sperm stays in the woman's body.

When she peaks any time between a minute before to 45 minutes after her lover climaxes, she keeps much more sperm inside than she would without orgasm.

When she comes more than a minute before, hardly any sperm is kept inside.

Instead by manipulating the timing she is subconsciously sub·con·scious

And this revolutionary theory is backed up by another survey which reveals that good-looking, symmetrical (physically perfect) men are more likely to give women more climaxes - and more likely to pass on their good genes.

Researchers already know that people with evenly- matched body parts like hands, eyes and faces are more likely to be healthier, stronger and have better immune systems immune system

Now they are also likely to give the best orgasms too.

Biologist Randy Thornhill and psychologist Steve Gangestad at the University or New Mexico New Mexico, state in the SW United States. They discovered women partnered with the most physically- perfect men had orgasms three quarters of the time, compared with just 30 per cent of women with lopsided lop·sid·ed

And as if that wasn't enough, the "perfect" men also found it easier to get a woman into bed too.

The research revealed they spent less time courting her before she slept with him.

They also spent less cash wining and dining a conquest. But on the down side, the "Mr Perfects" were also far more likely to cheat on their women, too.

 backs the findings.

He says: "Body symmetry is very important when it comes to sexual attraction Noun 1. sexual attraction - attractiveness on the basis of sexual desire
attractiveness, attraction - the quality of arousing interest; being attractive or something that attracts; "her personality held a strange attraction for him"
, especially when it comes to women judging men.

"A symmetrical man will immediately be considered a healthy man, and better genetic material for any potential offspring they might have.

"There is some indication that orgasms might increase the likelihood of conception and a woman is more likely to get pregnant by a man she finds attractive and exciting."

And it's not just humans who prefer perfect symmetry in their mates. Behavioural ecologists have discovered that most female animals, from scorpion flies scorpion fly

But there is one consolation for the not-so-perfect people in the world.

Chemistry can be just as important as symmetry - and love is blind to the odd imperfection im·per·fec·tion
