Anatolia Minerals Development Limited: Good Metallurgy At Rio Tinto-Anatolia Kizilviran.

Preliminary metallurgical tests indicate potential recovery of 95% of copper and 80-85% of molybdenum in concentrate from chalcocite mineralization at Kizilviran porphyry copper prospect. Also, Mackenzie increases interest in Anatolia to above 10%.

Resource Development Inc.(RDi) undertook preliminary metallurgical testwork on composited drill core from the 'Ridge Zone' zone of secondary copper enrichment at Kizilviran, within the Rio Tinto Mining & Exploration Ltd. ('Rio Tinto')-Anatolia Minerals Development Ltd. ('Anatolia') Tunceli Joint Exploration Area (JEA). The composited sample assayed 0.89% copper, 0.34 grams per tonne (gpt) gold and 63 ppm molybdenum. Some 55.5% of copper in the sample was determined to be secondary copper (chalcocite), 37% primary copper and 7.5% oxide copper.

Preliminary tests indicate recovery of 95% of contained copper, 92% of contained by-product gold and 80-85% of contained molybdenum using standard flotation methods. Follow-up tests indicated the flotation product can be upgraded to clean, marketable-grade concentrate containing very minor amounts of impurities. Tests indicate 54% of total copper is readily leachable, but gold and molybdenum are not recoverable by conventional copper leaching processes. While management finds these results highly encouraging, much more work will be necessary to determine definitive recoveries and the most efficient recovery methods.

A total of 2,555 meters of diamond core have drilled at Kizilviran in 9 holes, with another 2,543 meters of RC drilling in 18 holes. Some 12 holes in the Main Ridge Zone have returned assays of good grades and thicknesses of mineralization, predominantly secondarily-enriched copper mineralization (chalcocite). The Main Ridge Zone now extends some 1.5 kilometers along strike with widths ranging from 200 to 500 meters, and remains open in several directions. Additional drilling of a possible 1,500+ meter extension of the Ridge Zone is planned for early 2006.

Anatolia has been engaged in minerals exploration in Turkey since 1996. In January 2004, Anatolia obtained 100% interest in the 5.4-million ounce gold resource at Copler (of which 3.8 million ounces are measured and indicated). Anatolia aims to reach a production decision for the shallow, leachable, 1.8 million ounces of measured and indicated oxide resources at Copler by mid-2006. The Company controls approximately 1.1 million hectares within Turkey, including four properties currently under joint exploration with Rio Tinto and four additional properties under joint venture with others. In other news, Mackenzie Financial Corporation reported that their ownership in Anatolia has risen above 10%.

Anatolia currently has 57.9 million common shares issued and outstanding, 70.2 million fully diluted.
