Analysys Strengthens Research Team With New Appointment.

LONDON -- Analysys, the global advisers on telecoms, IT and media (http://www.analysys.com), has appointed Andrew Parkin-White as principal analyst, based in London.

Parkin-White was formerly at Ovum where he had been Managing Director of its Consulting business, Executive Board Director and, prior to that, leader of its mobile research and consulting activities. His extensive experience of working in senior operations roles for operators and vendors is combined with a first-class research and consultancy background.

During his 17-year career, Parkin-White has gained a deep understanding of the strategic and operational issues facing the industry. He has held managerial roles in strategic planning and marketing, with organisations including BT, Marconi and Orange. His experience of research and consulting is broad and varied; while with KPMG and Ovum he assisted clients with strategic, marketing, product and regulatory issues.

An accomplished professional in the mobile sector, Parkin-White will develop Analysys's thought leadership, as the mobile market moves towards a more complex, competitive and convergent environment.
