Analysts Cheer World Wrestling Federation's NBC and XFL Deal.

Four analysts from leading Wall Street firms issued reports today on the World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc.'s (NMS: WWFE) plans for the XFL football league following yesterday's announcement that NBC and WWFE will jointly own and finance the XFL, NBC will be the anchor broadcaster of the games, and NBC will invest $30 million into WWFE.

-- "We view this move by NBC as an important validation of WWFE's strategic vision and future growth as an integrated programming company," said Marina Jacobson of Bear Stearns, who has a "buy" rating on WWFE. "WWFE announced a very positive two-fold strategic relationship."

-- "We see this as an impressive first step in legitimizing the XFL," said Breck Wheeler of JC Bradford, who has a "buy" rating on WWFE. "We feel business and momentum continue to be near all-time highs."
