Analysis Group Promotes Antitrust and Health Care Specialists to Managing Principal.


BOSTON -- Analysis Group, a leading provider of economic, financial, and business expertise to law firms, corporations, and government agencies, is pleased to announce the promotion of T. Christopher Borek, Ph.D., and Genia Long to Managing Principal, effective immediately. Dr. Borek, based in Washington, D.C., is an expert in antitrust and intellectual property, and was previously a Vice President. Ms. Long is an expert in the economics and business strategy of innovation, particularly in health care. She is based in Boston, where she was previously a Vice President.

Since joining Analysis Group in 2000, Dr. Borek has excelled across a wide range of practice areas, including antitrust, commercial litigation and damages, finance, intellectual property, and telecommunications. He recently has been instrumental in developing Analysis Group's expertise in the economic issues involved in options backdating, and has consulted on matters including an examination of economic damages stemming from misappropriations of trade secrets in high technology, and investigations of antitrust issues in patent infringement disputes involving computer software.

Ms. Long has worked on a diverse set of strategy cases involving innovation in such industries as pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, consumer packaged goods, and information technology. She has addressed research and development, market strategy, and business planning challenges for a broad spectrum of clients. Within health care, she has consulted to pharmaceutical manufacturers, joint ventures, academic medical centers, and specialty hospitals. Additionally, Ms. Long has been at the forefront of key policy issues - publishing regularly with Analysis Group academic affiliates on topics including follow-on biologics and the societal value of medicine. She joined Analysis Group in 1997.
