To make information easier to understand, IPD will use "data-mining" techniques which enable users to extract data from large METOC databases more efficiently. IPD will also develop 3D displays and visualization techniques to aid tactical decision making. Bennett noted, "C4I programs such as METOC are given priority status by Department of Defense planners, and this work is well matched with our core information technology skills.
