Analysis & Technology Appoints Carl A. Anderson Vice President.

NORTH STONINGTON, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1998--Analysis & Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq:AATI), a leading developer of engineering technologies and technology-based training solutions, today announced that it has appointed Carl A. Anderson as Vice President and Operations Manager in its fleet support segment in Chesapeake, VA. Mr. Anderson will direct the Company's ship repair and industrial services initiative.

Mr. Anderson has over 30 years experience with ship and submarine operations including system installation, repair, and manufacturing in both public and private shipyards. Prior to joining Analysis & Technology, Mr. Anderson was the ship repair, installation, and fabrication group manager with Information Technology Solutions, Inc. (ITS) of Norfolk, Virginia. While with ITS, Mr. Anderson was responsible for ship repair and overhaul planning and testing for numerous government contracts, including several recent surface vessel "smart ship" installations. The Navy's smart ship initiative is aimed at reducing the number of scheduled ship personnel and maintenance costs. Prior to ITS, Mr. Anderson was a vice president with Vitro Corporation, where he directed operations on the East and West Coasts. Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science in marine transportation from the New York State Maritime College and is a graduate of the Naval War College.
