, XLSim, will be featured on the companion CD to the Microsoft Press title Microsoft Office Microsoft's primary desktop applications for Windows and Mac. Depending on the package, it includes some combination of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook along with various Internet and other utilities.  XP Inside Out, released last Thursday. XLSim uses a quantitative technique allowing managers without statistical training to model financial and other types of uncertainty and risk within the familiar environment of the spreadsheet.

XLSim offers up to one million iterations and two hundred output cells. It allows multiple outputs to be graphed on common graphs and animated for ease of comparison. Graphing functions are offered by applying Excel's internal capabilities.
