Brock holds a Master of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, Acoustics, from the Technical University of Denmark The Technical University of Denmark (Danish: Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, DTU) was founded in 1829 as the 'College of Advanced Technology' (Danish: Den Polytekniske Læreanstalt). . In 1979, he joined Bruel & Kjaer, the original parent company of B-K Medical, where he eventually headed the Sales & Marketing Group covering the entire Sound & Vibration segment. Brock was subsequently promoted to President of the Sound & Vibration Division, and was later appointed President of the Environmental and Transducer Divisions as well. Brock joined the GN Group in 1997 as President of Madsen Electronics A/S, a smaller company within the Audiologic Measuring Equipment business. Under his aegis, the company developed into the world's leading manufacturer of diagnostic hearing and balance instrumentation and software. In 2001, Madsen Electronics was renamed GN Otometrics A/S, one of GN's four core business areas today.
