Analog Design Solution Company Solido Signs Martin Harding to Lead Worldwide Sales and Marketing Efforts.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Solido Design Automation, a leading developer of process variation solutions for transistor-level design of analog/mixed-signal, custom digital and memory integrated circuits, today announced that Martin Harding, a highly experienced semiconductor and EDA (electronic design automation) sales and marketing executive, has joined the company in the newly created position of Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing. Based in San Jose, Calif., and reporting directly to CEO Amit Gupta, Mr. Harding will be responsible for strengthening Solido's global activities to continue positioning the company as an industry leader in analog and mixed-signal chip design solutions. Among his activities will be directing Solido's worldwide customer and partner relationship programs, building global sales channels, and providing strategic and tactical marketing support.

Mr. Harding has established worldwide sales and marketing forces, and been instrumental in growing company sales and customer bases, at numerous successful start-ups. His early experience in the microprocessor and ASIC groups at Fairchild and RCA led him to the EDA industry, where he initially joined Gateway Design Automation to lead the semiconductor and ASIC business. He was most recently President and CEO of Tenison Design Automation, which was acquired by ARC International, having previously served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Analog Design Automation and as Vice President, World Wide Sales, at C Level Design, both of which were acquired by Synopsys. Prior to C Level Design, Mr. Harding was Vice President of Business Development at Cadence Design Systems following its acquisition of Ambit. His experience also includes vice president positions at start-ups Virtual Chips and Chronologic Simulation.

Mr. Harding holds an HNC (Higher National Certificate) in electronics, with endorsements in physics and mechanical engineering, from Crawley College of Technology, England.
