The incentive helps customers offset the cost of PV purchase and installation and is based on the amount of PV power installed by the customer. Participants will see a reduction in their utility bills since the PV system produces energy for the customer at the site of installation. This program offers many advantages, including financial savings, energy reliability and environmental safety. PV systems generate "green power," as they release no smog-inducing emissions to the atmosphere and they are naturally sustainable, depending only on the sun as a source of fuel. Also, because they have no moving parts, they are quiet and require minimal maintenance. Customers may call 714/765-4182 to learn more about the PV incentive program. Residential customers may call this number to enroll in a free PV informational meeting to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2002, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at the Downtown Community Center located at 250 East Center Street in Anaheim. Reservations are required. Founded in 1857, the City of Anaheim is one of the nation's premier municipalities and California's 10th most populous city.
