An online 'Federal Corner' now available on the Bar's Web site.



The Federal Corner is now up and running on The Florida Bar The Florida Bar is the mandatory state bar association for the state of Florida. It is the third largest such bar association in the United States. Its duties include the regulation and discipline of attorneys.  Web site at www.floridabar.org.

The Federal Corner, a project of the Bar's Federal Court Practice Committee, provides federal practitioners and others easy access to announcements and links that are relevant to federal practice in Florida.

For example, one current announcement advises that the Pensacola office of the U. S. Bankruptcy Court bankruptcy court n. the specialized Federal court in which bankruptcy matters under the Federal Bankruptcy Act are conducted. There are several bankruptcy courts in each state, and each one's territory covers several counties.  for the Northern District of Florida will be moving to a new location effective April 26.

The Federal Corner includes links to such sites as The Guide to Judicial Practices in Florida's Federal Courts, federal court home pages, pattern jury instructions, local chapters of the Federal Bar Association, and more.

Visit The Federal Corner by going to www.floridabar.org, then clicking on "Quick Links" at the right hand top of the page, then scrolling down to "Courts--Federal," then clicking on "The Federal Corner."
