Natasha is a Russian female given name, originally a pet name variant of Natalia. It is the same as the Latin variant "Natalie", meaning "birthday" in reference to the birth of Christ, and was traditionally given to girls born around
 Spring's remarks in the "From the Editor" column in the September-October 2006 issue (along with many other experiences) have pointed out to me an emerging market for communication training: teaching foreign-born professionals about English pronunciation pronunciation: see phonetics; phonology.

Pronunciation - In this dictionary slashes (/../) bracket phonetic pronunciations of words not found in a standard English dictionary.
. As suggested in the column, international business requires that language barriers be minimized. While I do not teach English classes, I do teach foreign-born professionals to pronounce pro·nounce

 the sounds of English more clearly so that they can be understood more easily when they speak English. I have come to believe that people do not need to get rid of their accents, but they do need to be effective in sharing their ideas and expertise with native English speakers.
