dispute his
young son and a classmate apparently had in the aftermath of
Hooper's visit to the boys' kindergarten kindergarten [Ger.,=garden of children], system of preschool education. Friedrich Froebel designed (1837) the kindergarten to provide an educational situation less formal than that of the elementary school but one in which children's creative play instincts would be classroom one day.
Hooper, who was superintendent in Moran, Texas Moran is a city in Shackelford County, Texas, United States. The population was 233 at the 2000 census. Geography
Moran is located at (32.545945, -99.166275)GR1. , at the time, was
told later by the classroom teacher that the boys couldn't agree on
whose presence had just graced their space. The other boy insisted the
visitor was principal of their school. Hooper's son, Anson,
differed knowingly. "He's not the principal, he's the
stupidintendent."
