That version was at the Rose Theatre, Kiderminster, last week, after a run at Droitwich's Norbury Theatre. MUSICAL theatre companies collecting awards at the annual Weekend of the National Operatic & Dramatic Association's West Midland Region included Leamington Spa Opera Group (The Mikado mikado (mĭkä`dō), a former title of the emperor of Japan used chiefly in the English language. ), Sutton Coldfield Musical Theatre Company (Buddy), Wolverhampton Musical Comedy Company (Back to the 80s), Worcester Operatic & Dramatic Society (Titanic), Walsall Operatic Society (West Side Story) and Kidderminster Operatic & Dramatic Society and Bournville Musical Theatre Company, which both achieved recognition for their productions of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

TUDOR Musical Comedy Company, Sutton Coldfield, will present The Likes of Us at the Crescent Theatre, Birmingham, at the end of September..
