His tragedy sparked a major outpouring from fellow artists and fans who rushed to host prayer vigils, tributes and celebrations of Luther's unparalleled career. The artist's sixteenth album, Luther Vandross Live at Radio City Music Hall 2003, is a virtual "best of" featuring six #1 hits -I'd Rather, Never Too Much, Stop to Love, Take You Out plus Here and Now which was a Grammy winner. Other Luther signature cuts include Superstar, House is Not a Home, Love Won't Let Me Wait, Glow of Love, If Only For One Night and Creepin'.
