An Affiliate of Sun European Partners Acquires Manoir Industries, a Manufacturer of Highly-Engineered Specialty Metal Components and Assemblies.LONDON -- Sun European Partners, LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol ("Sun European Partners"), the European adviser to Sun Capital Partners, Inc. ("Sun Capital"), today announced that one of its affiliates has acquired Manoir Industries ("Manoir"), a designer and manufacturer of highly-engineered specialty metal components and assemblies, acquired in 2005 by the FCPR FCPR Fonds Communs de Placement à Risques (French: Venture Capital Fund) FCPR Florida Center for Prevention Research (Florida State University) T'NT-1 a Turnaround private equity firm managed by Fin'Active. Manoir is specialized for the aerospace, medical, energy, petrochemical, steel, construction, railway, defence industries and operates nine manufacturing facilities, including eight in France, one in Belgium, and a joint venture in China, employing over 2,800 employees. Revenues are in excess of [euro]335 million. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. For over 30 years, Manoir Industries has been involved in actively developing new alloys and processes to improve the mechanical and metallurgical properties of metals. The Company has specialized production facilities, demonstrated state-of-the-art technology, and unsurpassed competence and experience in the following metals transformation processes: (i) foundry melting and casting of all ferrous grades and materials, and casting from ounces up to 15 metric tonnes, (ii) forging of ferrous, aluminium, and super alloys including open closed die and net shape forgings, (iii) hydroforming hy·dro·form·ing n.
