Amy, who was accompanied by her French pen pal Benedicte, was nominated by her father Geoff after housebuilder Redrow Homes announced it was looking to take someone deserving on a special flight. Amy, whose family live in Northfield, achieved one of the best GCSE hauls in the country last month, with ten A* and seven A grade passes. She said: "When my dad heard about the competition he immediately wanted to enter and nominate me for the prize as he was so proud of my results. "We flew over the countryside of Kidderminster, which was beautiful and took in all of the sights and sounds."
