) Thursday announced the launch of its new Internet See Web 2.0 and Internet2.  Web site, located at www.amwest.com.

This Web site is designed to serve and inform stockholders and investment analysts, as well as insurance agents and brokers nationwide. This site contains several sections, including:

-- News Center: Company news, news releases, corporate contacts and other current information;

-- Corporate Center: An overview of Amwest, its products and services, history, executive management, office locations, as well as frequently asked questions (FAQs);

-- Investor Center: Comprehensive investor information for Amwest, including current stock quotes; stock charts; company and financial news releases; a downloadable version of the current corporate annual report in Adobe Acrobat Document exchange software from Adobe that allows documents to be displayed and printed the same on every computer. The Acrobat system created the Portable Document Format (PDF), which is widely used in commercial printing and on the Web. See PDF. .pdf format; earnings estimates; and a complete library of downloadable Securities and Exchange Commission filings;

-- Individual Sections on Surety Bonds, Property & Casualty Insurance, and Bail Bonds: Each section gives a thorough overview of the company's three divisions.
