Amsterdam call for action.We the participants of the International Conference, "Reproductive Health: Key to Poverty Reduction" (Amsterdam, 21 November 2003), call upon all stakeholders involved to take an active role in the realization of the ICPD ICPD International Conference on Population and Development ICPD Institute for Counselling and Personal Development (Northern Ireland) ICPD Institute for Conflict Management Peace and Development ICPD International Conference on the Prevention of Dementia Programme of Action (Cairo 1994). We call for: * Inclusion of sexual and reproductive health goals in all poverty reduction strategies and projects; * Inclusion of sexual and reproductive health goals in the implementation process of the UN Millennium Development Goals “MDG” redirects here. For other uses, see MDG (disambiguation). The Millennium Development Goals are eight goals that 192 United Nations member states have agreed to try to achieve by the year 2015. ; * Action to realize young people's sexual and reproductive rights, including access to information and services and funding; * Promoting active, meaningful and gender-balanced youth participation and youth-adult partnership, as well as women's participation at all levels of policymaking pol·i·cy·mak·ing or pol·i·cy-mak·ing n. High-level development of policy, especially official government policy. adj. To refer (proposed legislation, for example) to a committee again. to the ICPD Programme of Action by all stakeholders and call upon the Dutch government to use their influence to this end during the Dutch Presidency of the European Union in 2004; * Establishment of national all-party parliamentary groups on sexual and reproductive rights and health in general and in the Netherlands specifically for the implementation of these internationally recognized sexual and reproductive rights in international and regional forums; * Respect and fulfillment of sexual and reproductive rights through legislation and policy.
