Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and HMSHost Enter Into New Agreement For Concessions Contract; Concession industry leader to play a major role in European gateway's expansion program.

BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 10, 2003

HMSHost Corporation, a leading provider of food, beverage and retail concessions to the travel industry, has been awarded a new contract until August 2017 to operate food & beverage facilities and the airside hotel concessions at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The contract is expected to generate more than $700 million in sales over the life of the agreement. HMSHost will continue to be the largest food and beverage concessionaire at Schiphol.

The company has plans to develop more than 30,000 sq. ft. of new restaurant spaces as part of the airport's larger expansion program. Key concepts will include:

-- The Palais: Brown Dutch Cafe and Mediterranean Sandwich Bar -

This unique "building within a building" follows the

architectural lines of an ancient Dutch palace in downtown

Amsterdam (Paleis voor de Volksvlijt). 20-foot ceilings and an

open glass terrace looking out to the terminal will create an

elegant, authentic dining experience for Schiphol passengers.

-- Bubbles Seafood and Wine Bar - This modern, captivating space

will sport a nautical theme and serve fresh seafood daily. Its

wine list has more than sixteen varieties of wine by the glass

from the world's finest vineyards plus a selection of

champagnes.

-- Water and Energy Bar - Health and wellness are the key themes

in this innovative concept. The menu features a wide array of

juices, health drinks and waters for the health-conscious

traveler.

-- Market Food Court - On the second level, a modern market of

favorite concepts in approximately 17,000 square feet and with

seating for 400 persons in an upscale and entertaining

atmosphere. Showcasing the best international and local

concepts and products, this festival of food and fun will be

the favorite location for families and travelers connecting to

their European destinations from all over the world.
