Amplify.net Inks OEM Agreement with WaveRider; iSurfRanger increases capabilities of WaveRider's Last Mile Solution products.

Amplify.net, a Silicon Valley startup specializing in broadband service See broadband and broadband service provider.  quality and management solutions, today announced it has signed a multi-year original equipment manufacturer (OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and ) agreement with WaveRider Communications Inc. (Nasdaq:WAVC WAVC Western Association of Venture Capitalists ) to supply its iSurfRanger Bandwidth & Service Management products for WaveRider's Last Mile Solution(TM) (LMS) systems.

Amplify.net's iSurfRanger Bandwidth & Service Management products will be integrated with WaveRider's LMS systems to enable advanced network management capabilities, greater access to bandwidth and more robust point-to-multi-point connections. Under the agreement, WaveRider will include Amplify.net's iSurfRanger in its product marketing activities to its network of customers.

The integration of Amplify.net's iSurfRanger will enable users of WaveRider's LMS family of products to:
-- Perform bandwidth usage analysis by monitoring traffic down to single IP,
MAC addresses, and/or TCP/UDP port numbers;

-- Provide subscribers with predictable access to bandwidth based on service
level agreements (SLAs);

-- Reduce operating costs by optimizing uplink bandwidth usage in multipoint
environments such as multi- tenant unit buildings (MTUs);

-- Provide support for usage-based billing through Amplify's open application
program interface (APIs).
