Amplifon USA Executive Named Senior Vice President of the Sonus Network; Industry Veteran Dan Quall to Lead Strategic Initiatives and Member Service Programs for the Network; Announcement Follows on Successful Sonus Network Educational Summit.


MINNEAPOLIS -- Amplifon USA, the nationwide leader in delivering quality patient care and hearing solutions to individuals affected by hearing loss, announced today that Dan Quall has been named senior vice president of the Sonus Network. The Sonus Network is the largest professional hearing care network in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  with more than 200 company-owned clinics and 1,400 independent hearing solutions providers who are licensed Sonus Network affiliates.

In his new role as senior vice president of the Sonus Network, Quall's duties will include financial and retirement planning Retirement financial planning refers to a collection of systems, methods, and processes which, in their aggregate, support a family unit's (client's) desire to achieve a state of financial independence, such that the need to be gainfully employed is optional.  for Network members, business expansion, clinic development and marketing. In addition to his new responsibilities, Quall will continue in his role as senior vice president of HearPO, a managed care division of Sonus, which provides contracting and patient referral services for the HearPO network of audiologists and hearing instrument specialists nationwide.

Quall led the development of the Sonus Greenhouse training department when Sonus was first founded in 1998. He also served as president of the Sonus Network from June 2002 until Sonus was acquired by Amplifon USA later that year.

Quall also received the Distinguished Service Award presented by Hearing Instrument Magazine in 1991. Quall received a bachelor of arts from Washington State University Washington State University, at Pullman; land-grant and state supported; chartered 1890, opened 1892 as an agriculture college. The announcement follows on a successful Sonus Network Educational Summit hosted at the Paradisus Resort in San Juan, Puerto Rico San Juan (IPA: [saŋ hwaŋ]) (from the Spanish San Juan Bautista, "Saint John the Baptist") is the capital and largest municipality on Puerto Rico. , Sept. 20-25, 2005.
