Amplidyne Inc. Appoints Key Marketing Executive.

RARITAN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 20, 2001

Amplidyne, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMPD), a manufacturer of power amplifiers and high speed wireless Internet access products, announced today that Amarjit (A.J.) Momi has been appointed Vice-President of Marketing for its Ampwave(TM) Division. Mr. Momi was with Lucent Technologies (NYSE:LU) for over five years and held the position, Director of Product Management for Wireless Data Networks.

Mr. Momi also spearheaded the development of Lucent's AVAYA wireless products, where he was employed as Director of Product Marketing. Previously, he was Assistant Director of Information Technology at IPC Information Systems, a leading systems integrator for financial institutions in New York City. He also spent 13 years at AT&T and is credited with introducing Systimax(TM), a highly successful cabling system. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
