Amplidyne, Inc. Receives Purchase Order for PCS Single and Multi Channel Amplifiers Totaling $5.4 Million.

SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 25, 1999--Amplidyne, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMPD, AMPDW), a manufacturer of wireless communications amplifiers, today announced that the Company has received purchase orders totaling $5.4 million for its PCS Single and Multi Channel CDMA amplifiers.

This order has been received from key customers in the South East Asian market. The shipment of these orders are to begin immediately, and are expected to be complete by the 4th quarter of 1999.
