Amplidyne's revenues for the first quarter ended March 31, 2000 totaled $899,068 an increase of $243,898 (27% increase) from the quarter ended March 31,1999. Gross profit for the first quarter ended March 31, 2000 was $238,970 compared to $120,665 for the quarter ended March 31, 1999, ( an increase of 98% ).

The company recorded a net loss of $324,889 ($0.05 per share) for the first quarter 2000, compared with a net loss of $299,910 ($0.05 per share) for the quarter ended March 31, 1999. The company incurred stock compensation expense in the first quarter of 2000, in the amount of $100,000, which increased the net loss from $0.03 per share to $0.05 per share. There was no stock compensation expense in the first quarter of 1999.

Amplidyne, Inc. also announced the following highlights relating to first quarter ended March 31, 2000.

Successful development and delivery of 150 watt Cellular Multicarrier amplifiers. These products were developed for a major North American North American

Amplidyne, Inc. designs, manufactures and sells ultra linear power amplifiers and related subsystems to the worldwide wireless telecommunications market. These single and multicarrier linear power amplifiers, which are a key component in cellular base stations, increase the power of radio frequency and microwave signals with low distortion. The Company's products are marketed to the cellular, wireless local loop and PCS (1) (Personal Communications Services) Refers to wireless services that emerged after the U.S. government auctioned commercial licenses in 1994 and 1995.
