Ample Communications Signs Broadband Technology as Distributor in the UK.

Broadband Will Increase Ample's Presence in the Growing European Market

FREMONT, Calif. -- Ample Communications, a leading provider of Ethernet Aggregation silicon for wire line network systems, today announced it has signed a representation agreement with Broadband Technology to work as its distributor in the UK. Broadband Technology is a specialist manufacturers' representative of electronic components to major OEMs in the UK and Ireland.

According to the Semiconductor Industry Association, the European market is projected to reach $47.2 billion by 2007, up from $32.3 billion in 2003. This partnership between Ample and Broadband will allow Ample to distribute its full product line of high-speed Ethernet devices in the UK during this time of enormous growth.
