Amphenol Corporation (NYSE-APH). Amphenol Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Martin H. Loeffler, stated that: "On November 27, we announced that we expect fourth quarter 2000 earnings per share to be in the range of $.73 - $.75 per share. In view of the recent activity in our stock, I am restating our confidence in that forecast, and in fact we now expect to be at the upper end of that range, which would be a 103% increase over the fourth quarter last year.
