Amphenol to Exceed Consensus Fourth Quarter Estimates.

Amphenol Corporation (NYSE:APH) reported today that it along with other suppliers has received a notice from AT&T Broadband saying that they have approximately 45 to 60 days of excess inventory of broadband products, and therefore they are requesting that suppliers defer shipment of goods until after year end.

AT&T Broadband purchases coaxial cable from us and accounts for less than 4% of our current year sales. We do not believe that the actions of AT&T Broadband will have a material impact on our fourth quarter earnings. Furthermore, all of our business sectors of communication, including broadband, industrial and aerospace products continue to perform well, and we anticipate fourth quarter results to be in the range of $.73 to $.75 per share, an amount in excess of consensus analysts' estimates of $.70 per share.
