Amphenol Corporation (NYSE-APH) announced today that it has filed a shelf registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission registering 8.0 million shares of its common stock, 7.2 million owned by affiliates of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (commonly referred to as KKR) is a New York City-based private equity firm that focuses primarily on late-stage leveraged buyouts.
