Unit owners have undivided ownership interest in the land and those portions of the building shared in common. . Immediately following the conversion, on January 31, 1997, the previously announced sale of floors 10 through 18 of the building to the Government of Israel was closed. The purchase price was $31 million. Ampal and its subsidiaries acquire interests in businesses located in the State of Israel or that are Israel-related.
