Ampal Engages Israeli Market Maker.


Clal Finance to Make Market in the Class A Stock on the TASE

TEL AVIV, Israel -- Ampal-American Israel Corporation (Nasdaq:AMPL AMPL - A Mathematical Programming Language (a high level optimization language)
AMPL - Alaskan Malamute Protection League

) announced today that it entered into an agreement with Clal Finance Batucha Investment Management Ltd. ("Clal Finance") pursuant to which Clal Finance will act as a market maker in connection with the trading of the company's Class A Stock on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The agreement has a term of one year.
