:THQI), today announced an agreement to distribute mobile games and content for Amp'd Mobile's new 3G mobile entertainment experience, Amp'd Live.

Amp'd Mobile, set to launch nationwide later this year, will leverage the nation's largest CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum. The foremost application of CDMA is the digital cellular phone technology from QUALCOMM that operates in the 800 MHz band and 1.9 GHz PCS band.  3G EV-DO (EVolution-Data Only) A 3G high-speed digital data service provided by cellular carriers worldwide that use the CDMA technology, including Verizon and Sprint in the U.S. EV-DO works on EV-DO cellphones as well as laptops and portable devices that have EV-DO modems.  (Evolution-Data Optimized) network and will offer traditional wireless phone services plus a completely fresh user interface and fully customizable experience designed specifically for the 18-35-year-old audience and 3G networks. Via Amp'd Live, consumers will have the ability to more easily purchase content via their wireless phones from THQ Wireless' catalog of mobile entertainment including games, ringtones and wallpapers based on some of the biggest action brands such as WWE(TM) and MotoGP, in addition to sports leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB and the NHL NHL Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, see there . All mobile games, wallpapers and ringtones are expected to be populated within a THQ channel within the Games section of the Amp'd Live deck.
