Amotek, established in 1977, is located in Zola Predosa, very close to Bologna Bologna (bōlô`nyä), city (1991 pop. 404,378), capital of Emilia-Romagna and of Bologna prov., N central Italy, at the foot of the Apennines and on the Aemilian Way. , Italy, the leading area for the automatic packaging industry. Since its beginning, Amotek has designed and manufactured horizontal automatic bagging machines and complete packaging lines.

Amotek's machines, extremely versatile and easy to operate, may pack single or multiple products into bags obtained from tubular, flat, centerfolded film in reel or pre-made bags in wicket. The bags obtainable from our machines may be in different styles, such as with carrier handle or finger holes, bottom and/or top gussets, twist closures as well as with reclosable profiles. Thanks to their operation flexibility, the Amotek machines may be automatically coupled to any production line or independently operated as a single unit.

Being now a part of the Optima Packaging Group, Amotek is able to offer its well-known experience and flexibility together with a more extensive commercial network and after sales service. Our young and flexible structure allows us to intervene with the customers immediately with specialized engineers and, thanks to our well furnished stock, to supply the needed spares in the fastest way.

The new Amotek FB packaging machine combines the advantages of two different packaging principles. The first is the horizontal fill and seal machine with its longitudinal weld and second is the cross-weld with inserted gusset gus·set

Among other things, this machine is suitable for the automatic packaging of paper sanitary products such as baby diapers, sanitary towels or moist wipes in different pack sizes. Performance is up to 120 packs per minute.
