Amkor Signs Strategic Agreement with King Yuan Electronics.

CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 2001

Amkor Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMKR AMKR Amkor Technology ), the world's largest assembly and test services provider, announces the signing of a strategic agreement with King Yuan Electronics, the leading independent Taiwanese provider of semiconductor test services.

Now, Amkor's agreement with King Yuan Electronics rounds out its service offering within the Taiwanese market and will provide additional test capability and capacity to its growing Taiwanese business.
