Amisys Synertech and Choicelinx Corporation Solidify Alliance to Expand Health Plans Access to Innovative Internet Applications.


MANCHESTER, N.H. and ROCKVILLE, Md. -- Amisys Synertech Inc. will provide more than 80 health plans and their 13 million members access to Choicelinx' broad technology suite as part of its Advanced e-Solutions Suite and comprehensive consumer-directed offerings

Amisys Synertech Inc., a market leader of advanced software products and claims processing services for healthcare payers, and Choicelinx Corporation, a recognized market leader in providing Web-based solutions and consumer-directed technology products for the health insurance industry, have signed a definitive agreement to integrate Choicelinx' suite of applications with Amisys Synertech's commercial and consumer-directed product offerings. Choicelinx' decision support tools and Amisys Synertech's software and administrative expertise create a powerful combination of technology and services not duplicated in the industry. By providing health plans with this comprehensive and robust offering, the two companies hope to significantly increase the pace at which the industry adopts "consumer engagement."

Choicelinx, with its flexible technology solutions and comprehensive suite of Web-based products, enables health plans and insurers to address the growing demand for decision-support tools and benefit designs and more specifically meet their customers' needs. The Choicelinx product suite, including its Enrollment Manager(SM), Plan Selector(SM), Benefits Configurator(SM), and AdminOrchestrator(SM) allow health plans to offer benefits that can be customized online by members as they enroll in their benefits plans, and automates a number of health plan processes, including enrollment, life event benefit changes, benefit inquiries and benefit designs.
