) today announced sales and earnings for the three and six months ending June June: see month.  30, 2001.

The amount a seller receives from the buyer after costs associated with the sale are deducted.

Notes:
This amount is calculated by subtracting the following items from gross sales: merchandise returned for credit, allowances for damaged or missing goods, freight
 for the three months ending June 30, 2001 were $3,399,000 as compared to $5,471,000 for the like quarter in 2000. Net sales for the six months ending June 30, 2001 were $7,078,000 as compared to $10,246,000 for 2000.

There was a net loss for the three months ended June 30, 2001 of $955,000 or $.30 per share as compared to a net income of $378,000 or $.12 per share for the second quarter in 2000. There was a net loss of $1,632,000 for the six months of 2001 or $.52 per share as compared to a net income of $440,000 or $.14 per share for the like period in 2000.
