Amino Selected for First Ever Croatian IPTV Deployment; AmiNET STBs Delivering IPTV In New Region.

Amino (LSE:AMO), leading IPTV set-top box (STB) supplier, today announced that it has been selected by Vodatel for Croatia's first ever IPTV deployment. A substantial volume of STBs has been ordered so far, with further orders expected as the service area grows. The service will provide subscribers with full triple-play (telephone, broadband internet and television) and is the first time that a multiple advanced service has been available within the country.

Vodatel will provide its triple-play service via fibre to the home (FTTH), a broadband telecommunications system, based on fibre-optic cables and associated optical electronics. Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Zagreb, the system integrator for this project will install and maintain this network.
