Amino Partners with Trimedia for Complete Enterprise IPTV System; Corporate Systems Bring Stakeholder Communications into the 21st Century.

CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom -- Amino, leading IPTV set-top box supplier, has partnered with Trimedia Broadcast Ltd to provide an end-to-end system for corporate IPTV. This enables an internal communications system to be installed rapidly and without the risk of incompatibilities. Using a range of models from the AmiNET family of IPTV set-top boxes, Trimedia has already secured a number of prestigious deployments, including a bespoke in-house IPTV service for Discovery Networks Europe.

This type of system replaces the traditional notice board or paper-based communications such as posters, which are static, time-consuming to update and may compromise the appearance of the site when old or damaged. The entire corporate IPTV system can be controlled from a single PC either remotely or in-house. This allows for information to be easily refreshed with announcements, time-sensitive offers or modified data. The AmiNET set-top boxes are small and discrete while allowing simple connectivity to a corporate CAT5 cable network. In deployments where the IPTV network is used for personal development, employees can control the pace of their learning through individual set-top boxes.

The announced deployment with Discovery Networks Europe offers a highly flexible approach by allowing any desk, meeting room or public area to access the IPTV service, including the "Business TV" channel with corporate messaging via each set-top box around the company.
