Amino Outgrows APAC Offices; Company Relocation Reflects Regional IPTV Growth.

CAMBRIDGE, England -- Amino, global leader in set-top box technology and software for the IPTV industry, has announced the recent expansion of its Asia Pacific (APAC) office, based in Hong Kong. The relocation to larger premises in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon reflects the increased growth of the IPTV market in this region and significant success in winning new deployments with Asian service operators. The Hong Kong-based team is expected to grow further in 2006, to satisfy the increased demand for Amino's award-winning AmiNET product range and engineering expertise.

The APAC office move follows just three months after the US arm of the company, Amino Communications LLC, tripled its office space by relocating to a new 5000 square foot facility in Atlanta. The new Hong Kong office is strategically located by the harbour, in front of the famous Peninsula Hotel.

A recent report published by Infonetics Research states that the IPTV industry is set to "skyrocket", reaching 53.7 million global subscribers and $44billion in service revenue by 2009. The Asia Pacific region is identified in the same report as a region experiencing particularly strong levels of subscriber growth, largely due to the advanced DSL technologies such as VDSL and ADSL2, already in place.
