Amidst Mixed Responses to Terrorist Attacks, Houston Business Creative Momentum Reaches Out Helping Hand to World Trade Center Victims.

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 2001

While stories ranging from local blood drives to price gouging Noun 1. price gouging - pricing above the market price when no alternative retailer is available

are being reported in news across the country, one business located in Houston is determined to make a difference in the wake of Tuesday's terrorist attacks.

Creative Momentum, a consulting and training firm recently founded by technology marketing executive Linda Wise, announced today that it will donate 10% of the proceeds from its upcoming seminar MergerImpact! to disaster relief efforts for the victims of the World Trade Center attack.

"The attack on the World Trade Center in particular will have a far-reaching impact, not only on those experiencing personal tragedy, but also on business owners who are now faced with an enormous rebuilding process," said Wise. "Given the fact that many of the people involved in the business of mergers and acquisitions work in or around the World Trade Center, we felt that donating a portion of the proceeds from MergerImpact! was the least we could do to help."

Ms. Wise said several of the companies involved with MergerImpact! were significantly affected by the terrorism attack. William M. Mercer mer·cer
