Amgen Results: Drug maker Amgen reported "encouraging results" from its Phase II trial of the experimental cancer drug AMG-706, which treats a type of gastrointestinal cancer Gastrointestinal cancer refers to malignant conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach, liver, biliary system, pancreas, bowels, and anus.
